When I start auto texting, instead of capturing all of what I say, only brief amounts are captured and when I stop speaking briefly-- the next time I speak, my first sentence is wiped out (deleted) and replaced with what I say after I have paused. I have checked the settings and find no help...can you think of something that I should check?

No Auto Stop on EZ Grab when VHS is done playing

hi, as long as you don't have a professional VHS player/recorder with a serial control, and a dedicaded software to control it, it is impossible for your soft to know that VHS as finished, you don't have the problem with a firewire input, as the control passes by the FW cable in the two directions, but you can solve that (easy way) by setting up the capture time to approach the real timing !
for the MP4 format, the easy graber doesn't capture in this format without the use of the CPU, because it doesn't have hardware encoding, so that's why you can't reach good quality by capturing directly on MP4, you would need a card like hauppage game capture to have full MP4 (H264) hardware encoding with really good quality, and without any CPU use !

I have a stream of gases with known concentration and known flow rate to be capture in bottle of known volume. How can i have a guess calculations about the amount/volume of sample captured? khalil Ahmad

Your captured sample will be flow rate x time. Your bottle size is the upper limit of the amount you can capture (any more than that amount and the bottle will explode and you won't capture anything). You must allow for reduced flow rate as the pressure rises in the bottle.

How to Record Webcam Video with Earlier Versions of Windows Movie Maker If you're still using Windows XP, your Windows Movie Maker version might still support capturing video from a webcam. To do this, go to your WMM Movie Tasks and then select "Capture from Video Device". Select webcam from the list of analog devices. You must also select the video input line you want to use for capturing your webcam video. Then enter a name for your captured video file and the location of the drive where you want to save it. Select your video setting preferences for the video you want to capture. To stop capturing, you can either
choose to stop anywhere during the recording session or indicate a specific time limit before the recording stops.
How to Record Video on Your Webcam with Newer Versions of Windows Movie Maker When we say newer versions, we are referring to Windows Movie Maker version 6 which comes pre-loaded with the Windows Vista system. Since Windows Vista is a pretty advanced OS, we expected the latest version of the WMM to support webcam video capture as well. It's very helpful and economical since it comes packaged with Windows Vista, and you don't have to pay the extra cost just to have that tool.
So, the next question now is, how can you record a webcam video using Windows Movie Maker 6. Actually, like we said - you can't. You won't see the "Start Capture" tool in the File Menu of your latest Windows Movie Maker.
Your best bet is to look for alternative and cheaper software that would help you capture whatever you want to record from your webcam. Or, better yet, use the software that comes with your webcam to capture video and then import it into Windows Movie Maker for editing and enhancements. If your webcam didn't come with video capture software, you're in luck because there are free software appllications available for you to download to do such tasks. You can find a good list of webcam video capturing software from this list:
