If you have a free email account (gmail, juno, yahoo, etc.) just get a new address. Juno will send you email on behalf of their advertisers and these do not contain unsub options. And they won't stop, so just cancel your account and go to gmail where they have no unsolicited spam advertizing. Alternatively, you could do what I had to do on my business account and track down the owners of the domains sending the spam emails as well as the company hosting their services. I politely requested an end to the emails and when I got the next one I forwarded it to their own email accounts. It is not too difficult to track down the info needed, just do a WHOIS search on the domain name, i.e., go to www.whois.net and enter the domain (such as fixya.com) and you will be presented with the registrant's info. In some cases...such as the example here, you will be directed to another domain registrar (GoDaddy) and search there. In this example you will locate an email address for the domain administrator ([email protected]). A firm and well-worded request followed by an inbox of their own junk did wonders. I now receive NO more spam. Good luck.

How to stop spam emails

There is no way you can stop it. we all have to live with it. A anti spam program is a big help , it will put what it thinks is spam into a folder. so it doesn't get to your main email page . not perfect some will get by, some not spam may get into the spam folder. I check my folder every few days rescue the few not spam and delete the rest .

Unsubscribe

Have you opened the email you want to get rid of and gone right to the very end .. The unsubcribe link for most unwanted email is very small so goes unnoticed. failing that click on the mail then go to files and select delette forever/spam . the only problem with using a strong spam flitter is sometimes emails you want to recieve get redirected to your spam folder so youll need to check it every so often so that you dont miss emails you want..

I tried to change my password..now I can't get a response for a new code to change it and the old password dosen't work.. I havent been able to use facebook for 4 days?

1. If you have successfully changed your old password on Facebook, then you should get a email message regarding that change!

2. Check your 'Inbox' and also 'Spam' mails for that message!

3. Check that your 'Caps Lock' button is 'OFF' when you insert your login password!

4. Open your web browser.

5. Goto Tools >> Internet Options.

6. Delete all Cookies, Temporary Files and History.

7. Apply the settings and restart the browser.

8. If even now the page is not accessible, the problem is the busy server! Please try to Refresh/Reload the web page!

please rate me if this advice helps...tc! :)

Always getting the same notification on Facebook.

I would try just resetting your password - it looks like you could have been spamed and it keeps directing you to the spam site.
