If you are using just the hot water it will all of a sudden stop coming out of the faucet, the next time you use it, it will come out fine, you can hear a noise coming from the pipes as the water stops
Similar problem on a two-handle Rohl faucet. Hot water running for a minute, then all of a sudden the flow stops with a "thud". Strangely, this won't happen if cold water is turned on at the same time. Turns out hot water flow is restricted by an 90 angle valve (I was hoping to save some hot water) and the faucet somehow created a vacuum in the line and shut itself off. Problem solved by opening the supply line valve fully.
If this is the faucet in picture, turn off water, pull out cartridge and inspect for any debris in cartridge or valve body, if not, turn on hot water to see if water is getting through valve body. May have kinked line or debris from or in angle stop line.
