Error code C0500 and C0501 means Fixing unit's temperature abnormality.

How to reset these codes?

To reset Error codes C0500 and C0501, perform the following steps.

1-Turn the machine "OFF".
2-Press the "STOP" button on the basic panel.
3-Keep the button pressed and turn the machine "ON".
4-Do not release the button, until the machine warm up.
5-After few seconds Error code will remove and machine will reset.Basic menu will show no error on LCD screen.This means error code has been removed and photocopier machine is ready to use.

The 501 code is not for bizhub 350 is for dialta 250/350/2510 and refer to fusing unit error.

The error has to be manually reset. Here is what I found from the official procedure. Hope it works. How to clear a fuser error code (C0500, C0501, C0510, C0511, C0520, C0521). Solution To clear the fuser error code, perform the following after correcting the cause:
1. With power ON, open the front door and locate the small, rectangular hole below the imaging unit removal tool.
Note: It is not in the same location as the models 7915/7920.
2. Insert a suitable object into the hole to actuate the reset switch .3. The code should clear and a message to close the front door should appear.

C0501

The problem is in the fusing unit.Clean or change the unit components,heater lamp,thermitors,thermofusese.

turn off the machine, press the stop button, turn the machine ON, and keep the "STOP" button pressed, C0501 error code will reset in few moments...............

C0501 it is a trouble related with the Fusing Unit. Try to power it up with the STOP button pressed. If not, you may need to change your fusing unit.

The C501 code is to do with the fuser section not heating up in a given period of time.

Best guess would be that the surge blew the thermal fuse in the fuser and the lamp in not coming on.
This will nivolve taking the fuser apart, if you are not so inclined, it might be time to Call your local Tech.
