It could be a motor or a pump issue. The dishwasher has a motor that attached to a pump which forces the water up into the sprayer arms and during the drain cycle, it pushes the water out of the dishwasher. The motor (and pump) located beneath the dishwasher. Check if motor spins. In case it spins, the problem is with the pump ,in case it doesn't spin it could be a motor problem or a motor and pump problem. Good luck

Hello

Ensure the Frigidaire dishwashing machine is fully connected to a power supply. Shut the dishwasher door firmly and select a wash cycle. Press "Start" to begin. Check that the "delay start" option was not selected.

  • 2 Verify that dishwashing detergent is placed in the dispenser and choose a longer washing cycle for heavily soiled items. Do not overload the dishwasher, as this may prevent proper cleaning.
  • 3 Check the household water pressure, which should be between 20 and 120 PSI (pounds per square inch). A water pressure gauge can be obtained at most home repair stores or hardware stores.
  • 4 Turn on the hot water at the sink closest to the dishwasher prior to starting the dishwasher to raise the water temperature inside the dishwasher. Check the hot water temperature, which should be at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit for proper cleaning.
  • 5 Check the spray arms in the dishwasher and move dishes that may be blocking the water spray or preventing the spray arms from rotating properly.

Baumatic BD1631 dishwasher isn't washing the top tray. The rotating sprays are clear and hoses appear ok. The 'salt needed' warning light is on even though I've filled it with salt. Any ideas?

Try rotating the arm manually. Check whether its freely rotating. Clean the rotating axis area.

Check whether the pressure reaching the top spray arm hose.

Try rotating the spray arms by hand. It should rotate freely. If possible clean the arm rotating place by removing them.

Arms rotate by by pump pressure only. finally check the water pump also.

Upper two spray arms (Kitchenaid) are not rotating or spraying

I have had a similar problem. I found that I had to remove the spray arms and dislodge food waste that had gotten stuck in the nozzles. Whenever cleaning has been insufficient, this has always made things better. A shame that Kitcheaid didn't do a better job on their screens/grinder.

GE dishwasher GSD2200G00WW dishes not clean

Make sure the spray arm is actually rotating and the jets aren't clogged. You should be able to hear the arm rotating when the dishwasher is operating.

Otherwise, perhaps the pump is plugged or not working and the water isn't "jetting"

Whirlpool ADP5966 washer tablet stiil in door

probably that spray arms are not rotating - to check, open the door when in operation and see if arms move. if not moving, usual cause is debris in spray arm jets. (arms only rotate thro water coming out of angled jets at end.) remove arms and clean for which you need patience
