SMPS BURNT OUT

HI!
the SMPS of my Lenovo 3000 N100 type 0768-76A has burnt out, resulting in the system failing to boot up... Pls help.

    You mean to say SMPS Means your power adapter is burn ?If so then you have to purchase new power adapter.As far as the power concern there should not be problem for booting.

    Does your laptop work with Battery?

Does your laptop works on battery?
Do u mean to say that your adapter burn?
if so please replace the adapter.
There should not any problem related to booting of your computer as far as the Adapter concern.

try the lenovo website: http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/en/driversdownloads/drivers.html
select the first option, type the serial number of your computer and hit search. Under the networking wireless category, select the driver for intel wifi link that is compatible with your operating system

Lenovo 3000 N100 0689 hangs at boot up .

If you have a rescue disk or a System Disk that came with the laptop, use that and try to recover the system....boot using that and do a recovery....

Lenova N100, Screen Blank

can you push the f2 or delete key when first starting computer, If you get a bios screen you want to reset the computer to factory settings just follow the directions in the bios to reset to factory default, You may also want to try the Blue FN key lower left hand side, and the f8 key at the same time let me know if that works for you
