The main tharmister has poor contact or an open circuit
The tharmal switch has open circuit
You must clear the error in service mode

1. Define your Star Micronics Printers device model TSP600
2. Define your operating system to install your Star Micronics Printers device
3. Search Printers driver category
4. Find Star Micronics Printers driver
5. Select Star Micronics TSP600 Printer Network Setup Utility Ver. 2.0.1 Windows XP, 2000, ME, 98, 95
6. Download Star Micronics TSP600 Printer Network Setup Utility Ver. 2.0.1 Windows XP, 2000, ME, 98, 95
7. Install Star Micronics TSP600 Printer Network Setup Utility Ver. 2.0.1 Windows XP, 2000, ME, 98, 95
8. Restart or reboot your computer to finish your driver installation.

This printer is only support to windows 98 and windows 2000. here is the link where you can get the driver for your printer. hopefully it will work.

In the printer setting-

Change the Print Method from - "Tharmal Transfer to Direct Thermal" and save it permanently

They have an odd setup utility that will extract the drivers and then run windows add printer wizard. If it's an ethernet connection you may have to use the auto install utility to detect the printer. Keep in mind that the driver has 2 versions one is the basic driver and the other is with a status monitor.
