Everything seems to be working it just want heat or cook the food.
Had the same problem--the timer would even count down. The magnetron fan would not turn on, and the microwave would not heat. Checked out several components, but ended up being just the door latch out of adjustment! Be sure to discharge the capacitor before messing around in there. It keeps a charge even when unplugged. Short out the unused terminal on the capacitor to a screw in the chassis, using a short length of insulated wire.

I HAVE A MAYTAG MICRO OVEN AND EVERYTHINGS WORKING EXCEPT THE FOOD IS NOT HEATING OR COOKING, IT GOES ON BUT THE SOUND OF IT IS NOT THE SAME, ADDITIONALLY I DO NOT HEAR THE FAN. CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP. SEND RESPONSES TO [email protected]

After pushing the start button (or preset buttons) the light inside comes on and the timer display counts down, but the turntable does not move and the oven does not come on (heat).
Solution: We discovered that a door adjustment needed to be made. Now we have to figure that out.
