The film is from moisture getting into your watch. Moisture can get in one of 3 ways generally. The crystal if cracked, the crown, or the back. In your case since you have buttons for the mulch-functions of the watch you add a possible place for moisture to enter. Take the watch to a watchmaker or watch repair person. Your watch has to be taken out of the case and the case needs to be cleaned. Next the watch tec. may be able to see just where the seals failed and replace them. We of course do this. Also if the gasket is old or out of shape this is a culprit as well.
Hope this helps, gabe

Need a new glass for men's seconds watch

I assume you mean a Sekonda watch.
Watches from large scale manufacturers like Sekonda come with a wide range of glass sizes. 30mm diameter is a common one, but you would need to remove the glass in one piece to measure it. Watch glasses are commonly in 0.5mm steps (e.g. 30.0mm, 30.5mm,31.00 mm etc.) and may have rounded or bevelled edges so it is often very difficult to determine the exact size without removing the glass.
Additionally, there is the thickness of the glass to consider.
Finally, the 'glass' may be plastic, mineral glass or sapphire crystal.
All in all, you will have to know how to remove the back of the watch, how to remove the crown and stem in order to remove the movement, how to remove the glass in one piece, how to fit a replacement glass, how to refit the movement, how to refit the crown and stem and how to refit the back.
Alternatively, take it to a watch repair centre - you'll still have a working watch after they've finished with it.....

The glass of my watch got all dirty from inside how do I clean it?

You may need to open it from back to get the inside of the dial. Then use a **DRY CLOTH** to gently wipe inside of the glass.
To play safe take help of a watch technician.

Where can I get hold of a replacement glass for my sons watch which he has smashed during freshers week! Watch itself is not scrated and working OK but glass broken

you will need to get it professionally installed since you need to install it properly and have it sealed to prevent water or moisture from entering inside watch . I would say to have it done professionally around 35 dollars. I am pretty sure that the glass is at least mineral .

if you want to try it yourself you can buy online from esslinger or other similar watch parts stores.

I have condensation on the inside of the glass on my watch. I have a pr50 automatic so i don't know if the normal jeweler will be able to fix it. It doesn't have a battery and was recomneded to me to send...

  • Decide whether the risk of possibly damaging the watch is worth attempting a do-it-yourself fix. If the watch is expensive, you may want to have a professional repair it rather than risk damaging the watch or invalidating the manufacturer's warranty.
  • Step 2 Lay the watch in a dry place in sunlight and see if the water evaporates on its own. Put a piece of soft, absorbent cloth such as a towel under the watch. If the water inside the watch face is only a fine film of condensation that clears on its own after a short time, you probably do not need to do anything else.
  • Step 3 Seal the watch in a plastic bag filled with unopened packets of silica gel desiccant. These are the packets that come in shoe boxes and other packaged items. You can also use dry rice instead of the silica gel packets. Leave the bag somewhere warm and dry for a few days. The silica gel packets or rice can help draw out the water from inside the watch.
  • Step 4 Direct a fan at the watch or use a hair dryer on the lowest heat setting to blow air on the watch. Alternatively, if you can safely leave the watch on top of a low heat source such as a floor vent or radiator, this can help evaporate the water from inside the watch.
  • Step 5 Obtain the appropriate watch repair supplies. If you need to purchase tools, look for these at a watch repair shop or at a jewelry store. You can also find watch repair tools online. You may need small, fine-tipped screwdrivers and watch openers and closers.
  • Step 6 Take off the back of the watch, as if you were changing the battery. Use care not to scratch or damage any of the mechanisms such as the coil or stem. Let the watch dry thoroughly in the open air until there is no trace of moisture. Reassemble the watch once it is dry and press the seal firmly back into place. If the seal does not fit tightly, you may need to replace it

The film is moisture, you may have to remove the back and let if evaporate. You need new seals as it is your sweat that is causing it.
