Hja8703 will not drain

before doing any of the below please try not to get any electric wires wet and make sure the plug is off oor better still unpluged....good luck.....tip be carefull not to pull any little wires off......it might have somethink stuck in the pump causing the machine not to empty the water (the pump is normaly found under the bottom of the washing machine) if you do undo the pipe going to the pump watch out because there is water in there most of the time.......also check the filter because somethink could be stuck in there (these are normaly found on the front of the washing machine under the bottom front cover).....be careful because a little bit of water comes out...

Hoover nextra 7 program stops part way though

A possible fault that is consistent with your symptoms is that the water level sensing is confused. This is usually a column of water in a plastic tube bearing on a diaphragm switch which operates when the weight of water is sufficient to trip it.

The water level is adjusted by a dial which alters the pre-loading on the switch, meaning it needs a bigger or lesser column of water to trip it. If there is a leak in the tube, that would account for the water level trying to cycle. Any water underneath the machine? If so it is a good indicator that is the right track. If not it still may be that fault, but the leaking water is just not making it to the floor.

It is normal that the program suspends for filling, and it will not give rise to an error. Also normal is flow through the detergent drawer whenever there is a fill cycle. What is not normal is the repeated fill cycles.

Also investigate the actual switch associated with the level sensing. It might have bad contacts.

Please post what you eventually find the fault to be. Helps everyone, especially those trying to diagnose at a distance.

Dishwasher won't drain

If you hear the motor running when it is to be draining you may have a busted pump impeller. Also locate and check the round looking cap it will move up and down by your hand pull it up if it is stuck at the bottom this is your float level it goes up and down with the water level the pump will not switch over if it is stuck on the bottom if it is stuck it is telling the dishwasher it is empty of water. and last but not least your wash timer may be out.

AEG 73630: wont take water in, cant pump water out, when choosing a program the timer seems to have changed minutes with seconds, and when choosing af program, the only thing happening is, af few spins...

The machine knows what the water level should be at every step of the program, so if its full when it should be empty, is not filling when it should be or is taking too long to fill or empty the program will abort and count down in seconds as you describe.
First - check the drain filter for blockage!! if clear, can you hear the drain pump running on 'drain' program? a chug chug chug noise. If not pump may be jammed or seized - or the drain tube maybe be blocked at the waste connection on the sink, etc. Or maybe the water supply pipes have blocked or got turned off? Possibly the waste pipe may not have been installed correctly and the machine is syphoning empty? ie the end of the waste pipe is lower than the water level in the machine - so it syphons empty like draining petrol from a petrol tank! That would empty the machine when it should be full.
Check all the basics of filling, draining and filter before suspecting anything else.

Daewoo DWCLD1013 washer & dryer The cycle keeps getting stuck on spin at around 10minutes, at which time it keeps going round and round with no actual fast spinning, until it stops about 20 minutes...

The cycle that the machine is stuck in is in fact the empty cycle, just before the spin kicks in. It is staying there because it has a problem evacuating all the water. The machine won't go into spin until all the water is gone and after a set time ( 20 minutes is unusually long, most machines stop after about 10,, but I'm not familiar with Daewoo), the attempt to empty is aborted and the machine stops.

Your problem therefore is either:

The filter for the empty pump is clogged with debris (far and away the most likely) you will need to locate and clean the filter

The EXIT to the drain is blocked, check the empty pipe is not blocked

The empty pump has failed (you would usually expect to hear the pump rumming, but it may not be a noise that you are familiar with).

First and second items are easy to fix, the 3rd is a pump replacement, which isn't that hard, but depends on your level of DIY skill

My Dishwasher starts but after 30 seconds it stops and the light flashers. It seems to make a noise as if it is been emptied.Any ideas? I have lost our manual. Thanks.

Is it possible that the washer is not receiving the required water level to wash and the sensor is defective.?
Or is it possible that the drain pump or drain valve is faulty.
or the main controller is having a fault on program.
Try choosing a different program to see if there is any change.

Water fills the pump basket area and empties once full

This could very well be low water, it should be half way up the tile or the skimmer throught. Also check your skimmer weir door. If it get's stuck in the up position it will do the same thing. To be sure start the pump then watch the water in the skimmer. If it sucks dry then it is one of these things.
