11 blinks do not occur to Sony Trintron TVs. It should be 10. Ten blinks - Check Q8014 and Q8013 for shorts,
leakage, or bad solder connections on the " D" board. If the
transistors are bad, check R8051 and IC8005, also on the "D" board. If you wish to get more details about these blinks, check the site linked here. Blinking codes and fault detection to many brand TVs, including Sony are given in detail. These blinks are called, blinking codes, and fault indications. From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside it. Check the site, and get more details.

There is a problem in the sweep section of the set. The Horizontal sweep power supply most likly. there is nothing a layman can do as it will involve troubleshooting the solid state circuit. please find a trainded tech to assist you in this repair.

I think I have the solution for you. I have the same tv and it does the
same thing when you turn on the power button on the remote when the tv
turns on you hear a click then the red light flashes about 5 to 6 times
then the tv comes on. on the remote there should be two buttons on top
of the remote one says power and the other one says system hit the
power button to turn on the tv when you hear the click and see the red
light flashing then hit the system button which will turn off the tv
then hit the power button again and it will turn the tv on without the
red light flashing it should work

HI, this is the result of an unstable power sector in this unit. the fly back is malfunctioning and, you will need to replace it asap. i will list the part number below and a link to a site as well. you can purchase this part on-line if you wish.

know this isn't what you want to hear, but the problem you've
described can't be fixed with troubleshooting.
Your TV
will have to be repaired. There is a part that has developed a defect
and needs to be replaced. If you're still in warranty, the TV will be
repaired at no charge to you. The warranty would likely be at least
one year from the date of purchase from the manufacturer. If you
purchased an extended service
plan
they will repair the TV at no charge as well.
If the TV is no
longer in warranty, it will likely cost a minimum of $150 parts and
labor. This is assuming that you only need one circuit
board
or small part. If the problem is more than one of the circuit boards,
the price of repair could go much higher.

You have what is commonly known as a shutdown problem. It's an overload in one of the internal circuits. It needs to be looked at by a professional tv reapir person.
