The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). camera should work with the computer without any extra programs aslong as you have windows 2000, xp or vista. it should show up in my computer as a removeable storage device and disappear if unplugged and reappear when replugged, pictures should be in side that folder.
