TOMTOM GO LIVE 1000 Orange charge light will not

TOMTOM GO LIVE 1000 Orange charge light will not go green. I get a display on the device when i first turn it on that say there is not enough power/charge to connect to Live services. I have rebooted goodness knows how many times I have brought a new battery. Brought a new USB cable Brought a new Cigarette lighter USB for the car and still will not work. The TomTOM turns on ok, and works in the car when connected to the usb cable as a basic sat nav system, but will not connect to live services. You can see it tries to connect but get the message not enough power to connect, and the ornage light never turns green. Any ideas anyone ?

When I turn on my ipod shuffle & hit play it blinks green and orange several times and won't play

The Apple iPod shuffle is a digital music player that contains a single indicator light that relays information about the device's battery condition, computer connection and any errors the device is having. The indicator light is capable of blinking red, green or orange as well as displaying a steady red, green or orange light. The iPod Shuffle includes a Universal Serial Bus interface and buttons on the front of the device for controlling music files.

Blinking Orange A blinking orange light indicates the iPod Shuffle is receiving an update via iTunes to the device's internal components. The update could include a patch to repair an error the player encountered once before, an update to the player's file-saving software, or a combination of security, repair and software updates. Updates are free and automatically sent directly from Apple through iTunes to your iPod shuffle before a sync process starts. Disconnecting iPod Shuffle When the player's light is blinking orange, do not unplug the device from your computer's USB port this will stop the update process and possible corrupt the device's internal hard drive. Let the update process and sync process finish before clicking "Eject" within iTunes and removing the player. Disk Use Enabled If you use your iPod Shuffle as a flash drive and not as a music player, a blinking orange light means that the device is connected to your computer and ready to accept files. The "Disk Use" enabled setting is changeable within iTunes if you decide to use your iPod Shuffle for music storage instead of file storage. When set up as a flash drive, the iPod Shuffle is assigned a drive letter by your computer's operating system and the drive lets you "drag and drop" files to the device. b> Charging If your iPod shuffle's battery is completely depleted or low on charge, connect the player to your computer immediately for charging then leave it connected to receive any updates to the device's software and internal components. Its indicator light may or may not blink orange until after it is fully charged. If the battery is low on charge or completely depleted, you may receive an error stating that the iPod is corrupt or needs restoring, close the error message and let the device fully charge.

Will not link to satellites

1) Install "TomTom Home" software in your computer from www.tomtom.com
2) Start TomTom Home in your computer
3) Plug in the GPS dock to your computer's USB port and place the GPS on the dock. The green light on the bottom right of the GPS should turn ON to indicate that the GPS is getting power from the dock and charging
4) Start your GPS while being in the dock. If the GPS asks "do you want to connect to computer" answer "YES"
5) The TomTom Home software will detect the GPS and check if there are any updates for it. Then you'll be offered updates to install. Some are free, some are not. Install the "QuickFix".
6) After the download is complete, choose "DEVICE" from the TomTom Home drop down menu and choose "DISCONNECT DEVICE". Wait a few seconds until the computer tells you that "NOW YOU CAN SAFELY DISCONNECT YOUR TOMTOM".
7) Turn off your GPS and let it charge for at least 1 hour.
8) Turn the TomTom ON and move it close to a window. Leave it on for at least 15 minutes. It should be able to get a lock on the GPS satellites, even if it is indoors (assuming you don't live in the middle of a city, surrounded by tall buildings)

Frozen tomtom

You can get your original splash scren from here. You can also download free splash screens created by user through TomTom HOME.

To correct your device, try:

1. Hit the reset button on the back of the device - inside the serial connector.
2. Make sure the device is off and connect it to your computer via USB dock and connect the charging cable (green light should be on)
3. Hold down the power button until the device restarts.
4. The device should automatically connect to your computer.
5. Run TomTom HOME and check for any updates.
6. If there is no new application, try: www.tomtom.com/9091 <-- that will show you how to remove and then reinstall the application.
