I HAVE A WIRELESS DELL MOUSE PU705 IT IS TURNED ON AND HAS NEW BATTERIES. I DID NOT SEE ANY BUTTON UNDER MY DELL INSPIRON 1525 TO SYNCH WITH THE MOUSE. I CAN GET THE MOUSE LIGHT TO BLINK ON THE FRONT BY TURNING IT ON AND PRESSING THE RESET BUTTON ON THE BOTTOM OF THE MOUSE. I JUST CANNOT GET THE MOUSE TO WORK WITH THE DELL
This is a bluetooth mouse, if you have used it before then you'll need to remember how to sync it with your computer ( you should have some sort of bluetooth manager window that will be able to find the moue and communicate with it.
If you haven't used it before you might not have bluetooth built into that computer ( i have an inspiron 1525 and i don't )in which case you'll need to buy a bluetooth dongle which will plug into your USB port and will communicate with the mouse for you. The dongles are pretty cheap though, here is a link to one for 2.54$
