SOURCE: I connected the bmw harness

In that vehicle there is a factory amp. It will power up with the White wire in the factory harness. Hook the amp out wire from the aftermarket unit to this white wire. It also controls your antenna.

Installed kenwood ddx319 stereo but there is no volume

I had a similar problem with the DDX470 in a 2003 Hyundai Sonata. Turns out the car has a factory installed amplifier so the Blue/White wire had to be connected to the Blue/White wire on the wiring harness I had connected to the car. Let me know if you have this wire connected or not, and what type of vehicle you are installing the stereo into.

I have bought a 16 pin iso lead power wiring harness adapter to enable me to fit a panasonic stereo in my old BMW. Please could you tell me why the adapter has a brown wire which is not connected at one...

Harnesses are made for many vehicles. The harness you bought may fit another year model where the brown wire might be used. If you are not using this wire, just tape it up and secure it. It will be fine as long as everything is working on the stereo you have installed. good Luck.

I recently wired a eonon e1091 into a 2007 silverado classic. i used a scosche wiring harness that allows me to keep my chimes. everything works fine but when i turn the truck off, theres still power...

It's called delayed acc. power. It should shut off as soon as you open the door. Unless the red stereo wire is hooked up to constant power. You may need to check with a test light.

When i turn up the volume the deck turns off then turns back on

What kind of car do you have the stereo in? It sound exactly like a bad ground wire. To trouble shoot this, simply find a good clean ground point to hook the black wire from the radio to. you can usualy find somewhere behind the dash that the factory has grounded things to. I asked what kind of car, because some fords, and nissans do not have a ground wire in the factory radio harness, even though the adtor harness you may have used will have one. Hope this helps.

2005 town and country factory stereo removal

It's actually not too hard when you figure everything out. I just installed an aftermarket stereo and couldn't get any sound until I stumbled across a solution on this site. First you need to get the correct wire harness which I bought on ebay for $1.99. Then you need to get the install kit. I got mine at Radio Shack for $10.00 cause they're going out of business. You can get it at Best Buy too or any other car stereo place. To get the old stereo out. Take out the cup holder. There is a button on the top rear of it that releases it. Then remove the 2 screws at the bottom. Gently pull the entire trim that surrounds the stereo, cd changer and ac controls. You will now have access to removing the stereo. It's very easy after that. After you connect the wire harness and install the new stereo you need to run a wire from the red ACC wire on the stereo to the NBS relay in the fuse box under the hood. That's it! Good luck. Sorry I have no pictures.

Changing headlamps on 2003 bmw 325xi

I am assuming that you have a burned out head light bulb.
1) Open hood.
2) Working in back of headlight assembly, grasp rear of bulb socket (harness connector) and turn counterclockwise 90 degrees. Pull bulb out of headlight assembly.
3) Disconnect harness connector from bulb (gently pry, it's plastic)
4) Installation is reverse of removal. (Do not touch halogen bulb with bare skin-oils from hand will cause bulb to burn out.) Align tabs on bulb base to cutouts on rear of lens assembly. (Note bottom tab is wider than other two) Secure bulb by rotating clockwise 90 degrees.

High beam bulb H9005
