Single handle tub/shower leaked, now not working

I have a single handle (pull to turn on water) tub/shower faucet, do not know brand. It was dripping so I pulled it apart. I brought the, what I would describe as a like a small rubber boot, to local store, got a new one that came with a stem. I pull it back together, Now not getting any water coming out. What did I miss??
Again I do not know what brand it is.

You may have installed the stem incorrectly or something is blocking the water passages inside

Did they give you the same replacement washer? Also there is a spring that goes in before the washer. Something is sticking. Take the handle off and turn on the water supply very lightly and check to see if water comes out.

How do I repair a Danze single handle tub and shower faucet which leaks benind wall when water is on but does not leak when is off?

this is caused because its not in the value...its either in the shower head seal or pipe or the tub spout...you have to turn it on and some how watch and see where it is coming from....sometimes you can pull back escushion from shower arm and look with flashlight when it is running and if you see leak where arm is screwed into pipe...unscrew and reseal with teflon tape and tighten...if not you will have to cut wall behind system and watch for area of leak...good luck

MY SINGLE HANDLE SHOWER FAUCET DRIPS RAPIDLY. THE ONLY BRAND NAME MARKING IS "MASTER PLUMBER". iS THERE A REPAIR KIT FOR THIS FAUCET?

Those faucets are made by different companies and they put their name on them. Delta Price Pfister most likely. Sorry but you will need to pull it apart and see which it is. That is a hardware brand faucet and may be made by any of the major brands.

I have a moen 1 knob push-pull faucet for my tub/shower. When I push it in sometimes water continues to drip. It is probably 30 years old. Are their replacement parts for it?

The old MOEN single handle faucets like youve described usualy took a 1200 or 1225 cartridge. Both are available at most of your big home improvement stores. The answer to your question is yes MOEN parts are still avail. Hope this helps. If this advise is helpful, please give me a vote.

Moen shower/tub faucet

hi... yes that's a very common issue with moen "cartridges" -- it's very simple to fix..... grasp the handle and give it a gentle tug upwards when the water is on... if it retracts again, pull the handle out again and tug again but this time a bit harder. Not sure what causes this on new cartridges but it will fix your issue.
