Repair of ceramic band of Vicence white ceramic band, can it be repaired?

Question edited for clarity, 'Vincense' to 'Vicense'.

Amazon do replacement white ceramic bands.

They appear to be a watch without a maker and are sold on QVC, eBay and Etsy so not of Italian manufacture as the name suggests. Very fine Chinese watch.

You could just paint the chip with a matching colour of nail polish.

I've been told that the mechanism in my watch needs replacing. Where do I have that done, and what is the cost?

at a service dealer or jeweler shop
get a quote on what is wrong first as the replacement may cost more than a new one

What and when did you pay for the watch. This will tell if it is gold or gold plated.

I would honestly suggest that you take to a jeweler to have done. There is always a risk to do this yourself without the right tools.

I am a retail jeweler. We broke a cust.'s crystal when changing a battery. Need help in getting new crystal. Lds. 14kt,rect. milor,Italy. Please help

This is hard one. First advise is to contact manufacturer. If no success there, then you have to find out any watch repair shop with watch glass cutting services. I used to order obsolete watch glasses to cut over here in England, so, should be similar service in USA. Last and most expensive thing is to buy KRONOGLASS cutting machine, but you will be able to cut watch glasses in the future and provide this service yourself. Not much, but at least you have an idea where to look for. Rate me, plz.

Vicence watches are made in Italy, so, the back replacement you can find only through the dealers.

What kind of watch is it? Is it under warrenty? If not, look in your phone book for a watchrepair NOT a jeweler, and most carry alot of crystals ( if it's round) in stock or can order it for you. If you can't find one let me know.

Go to a watch repair shop..Its real 14k gold how could it not be worth getting fixed. A jeweler its not a watch repair person.

It all depends which is most important to you - originality or the watch working. The movement itself is quite inexpensive to completely replace to non-functioning one and a watchmaker capable of changing it retaining the original dial and hands at a reasonable cost shouldn't be too hard to find.
Jeweller often state that watches are 'unrepairable' when they really mean they can't repair it. shop around.
