I notice that my epson perfection 2450 photo scanner has been discontinued. now missing the software, I can't reload to my new computer. I have a thirt-day trial software package that was to be able to be purchased at the end of trail, well link goes nowhare and I have no scanning software. Anybody know how or where to get the full smart panel software for my discontinued printer?

Had the same problem but finally put it all together. Make sure you get the Copy Utility patch or you may not be able to copy. Also, make sure you install Twain 5 first and then Smart Panel.

Thank you for your good information. I followed it exactly and was able to use the Smart Panel, though it is a different version than what I was used to. Just another note, it is not necessary to buy the extra time or disc of the Smart Panel. I learned the hard way, but just pay the $9.99 for the download and you get 30 days free download with it. When you download, you can save it to a disc first which is safest and then install it from the disc.
