The tv turn on then off no picture and red light flashes on left side of tv
I'VE WORKED ON A LOT OF PHILIPS FLAT SCREENS AND ALWAYS NOTE ,WHEN THERE ARE PROBLEMS WITH THESE SETS--THE RED LED WILL BLINK GIVEN YOU A CODE FOR TROUBLESHOOTING..EXAMPLE---ONE L0NG BLINK,4 QUICK BLINKS--BAD AUDIO BOARD,,,SOOOOOOOOOOO,CHECK YOUR BLINKS,HA!
I bought a plasma Philips 42 inch model number 42PF7320A/37 also 18 months ago. The exact same thing is happened to us. The screen would go black every since we brought the tv after about an hour of watching it. Then the other day it went black and never came back. The red light in front is blinking and they are saying we need service!!!!!! A $2000 TV lasting 18 months. I am trying to get Philips to be accountable, I am very upset with this product.
I have problem to LG 20' LCD TV theres a power and sound but no picture is totally black out can somebody give an idea to fix the problem. thanks
The lower scan board is most likely n/g as well as the Y drive board. The panel is most likely a Samsung. So you're into it for 2 boards + labor, would bprobably in 600 mabey more to repair
U better have it checked by a qaulified tech

Screen splits horizontally and displays only top portion or top portion turns bright colors and bottom is blank. Finally, screen goes dead, sound goes off and red light flashes.

I have a flat screen Phillips TV about 18 months old and one day I could hear the sound but no picture. The screen shows menu/settings and when I hit exit I could see "pictures" for about 5-10 seconds and it goes back to Menu/settings!.
Any fixes?

The picture disappears and in its place a grey screen that shows settings that list tv, setup, installation, demo, Exit... Incredibly frustrating! Any resolutions?
