My oven door locked itself. It will not let me use the keypad.

This blank display is a common control board problem. If the buttons beep when pressed, then the control board is getting adequate power. If the buttons beep.. and your oven light still turns on when the oven door is open.. this a text book control board failure. From my understanding your Frigidaire oven is displaying an error code of "F8" and your keypad is not working properly. An "F8" error stands for runaway temperature (overheating). I would recommend performing a reset on your oven and you can do that by disconnecting the power cord for at least ten minutes.

If that does not help correct your issue then you could have a problem with your RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (Electronic Oven Control). I would suggest having a professional technician out to perform a proper diagnosis and repair. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt

Unfortunately, an F11 error indicates a short at the keypad. Try unplugging the oven and waiting a minute before restoring the power. If that resets the error, great.

Otherwise, you need to replace parts. Please add a comment with the model number for specific information. Most likely, you need to replace the electronic control unit (clock). However, this error can be a sign of a damaged wiring harness or the secondary control panel in the oven.

If the oven door is locked, you may be able to temporarily unlock it by accessing the switch controlled by the door lock motor. You will need to unplug the oven and pull it out. Then take off the back panel to reach the switch.

Error code F0 means that an error with the keypad has occurred. Usually it happens due to loose ribbon cable on the keypad or the electronic control assembly itself going bad. To resolve this issue first, disconnect the power to unit and then gain access to the back of the clock assembly (Electronic Range Control/ERC). Now unplug the touch pad ribbon connector from the ERC, it would be a flat wire approx. 1 1/2" to 2" wide and make sure that the cable is not broken and nothing is shorted on the keypad. After this is done insert the cable back and then plug the unit back to check. If the error is still there then the electronic control board should be replaced. F1 error means that you have either a bad ERC (clock) or a bad touch pad. To check these please follow these simple instructions:

1. Disconnect power to stove
2. Gain access to the back of the clock (electronic range control or ERC).
3. Unplug the touch pad ribbon connector from the ERC. This will be a flat wire approx. 1 1/2" to 2" wide.
4. Make sure everything is clear and will not short out when power is turned back on.
5. Turn power back on to stove.
6. Watch for the F1 and listen for the beep.
7. If you get the F1 and beep, replace the ERC.
8. If after approx. 30 minutes you do NOT get the F1 and hear the beep, replace the touch pad...

F7 stuck keypad
Stuck keypad may mean relay is turned on.
Determine if problem is with the Key Panel or Control by:
1. Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad.
2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs

If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.

If code does not recur, problem is with the Key Panel.

the F1 code usually means that you have a key stuck on the keypad. unplugging it from power won't make a difference for this one. is it a wall oven or a stove? can you supply the make & model please?

The Model number is a RBD306PDB6 i found that one as far as the code
