if you mean the 7 inch pillow car/fpv screen from ebay/amazon, the blue wire is not needed if you just use the first video connection (AV1).

However, you can use it to trigger the AV2 channel by connecting it to +12V (the same as the red cable). as soon as you connect it, the screen switches to AV2, and displays the words "Car Back" in red in the top right corner. i think its supposed to be connected to your reverse light's positive connection, so as soon as you select reverse, and the bulb is lit, it will switch to AV2, and display the feed from your rear camera. (there may be a safer way to connect it to your car, but i can't see any reason why it would not work)

As soon as you disconnect the blue cable from +12V (or change out of reverse gear), the screen will go back to AV1, and the red text will disappear.

i suppose you could connect it to your power supply via a switch, and use it to switch between two camera feeds, but the red text is annoying, its probably easier to use the remote :P

- isolate the problem first by checking all the cables for any bent pins and loose wire/ connections - unplug the lcd monitor and try to get a spare computer to check if its your computer's video card or the lcd monitor - if lcd will give display using a different computer it only means there's something wrong in the computer's video card - if lcd will not give display using a different computer it only means lcd had gone bad and needs to be replaced.

why do you need a wiring diagram for . heres the thing if you need to have a diagram take it to a professional b4 you fry something .

on any monitor there is on power and ground and audio output and and video inputs

unless you have a dvd built in you will not have a constant power wire

red igintion 12 volts
black ground
yellow rca cable is video in
should be second yellow for video 2 input

some monitors have red and black rca audio outputs to the radio

With the pixels acting up and the monitor having the same problem on any computer that its connected to. The screen itself is bad and since there are no replacement screens for that monitor, you would have to buy a new monitor or get it replaced if its under warranty.

A bit late on this! You will need a multi cable for the unit. It connects with the cable on the monitor and the other end has several terminals, usually like so.... NTSC video, audio, bat positive and battery negative. Could also be left and right audio.
