Our TV model is 60SBX78B, Hitachi project TV.
it cannot turn on now. I unplug the power and plug again. then turn on TV, the power red light (indicator), it turns on but one second later it off right away. i tried many times, same result. thanks for your help.

If your remotes are out of the room and you try to turn and it still wont come as it should ,then You have a problem with the power switch or the supply, your unit needs to go to the shop . Sorry. DFD

You'll have to contact the Hitachi local customer care and order a replacement.
It won't be that much of a cost, maybe around $20 or so.

replace pico fuse E994 and capacitor C707. You have to disconect alot of wires and remove the screws holding the boards. you DON'T have to remove the large high voltage wires. You have to stand the board on it"s edge to unsolder the components from the back side of board. Good luck it worked fine for me. [email protected] gene

The green led or lights on the board indicate some of the power supplies are working. The key is do you see any come on and then go out. this would indicate which part of the power supply is failing. also there are fuses in the set that do not look like your standard glass fuse. WARNING television generate lethal voltages that will hurt you. extreme care should be used.
