Lost codes for 4 in one used for universal remote control

I bought a new remote a month ago.I program it with the codes,for the TV, VCR. Iaccidently grabed the control and pressed a wrong button codes, were no longer in use .I seem to have misplaced the paper work , to reprogram for Sanyo TV, and Panasonic VCR.I do not want to buy a new one since this one was bought in July of 07 Thank You Beverley Atherley

    lost my philips magnavox univeral 4 in one remote, don't know the code for my tv and cable. I have a toshiba TV . I manually turn on the tv, press code searh button until red light comes on then i entered 517 which was the code for another toshiba tv i had, but that doesn't work.

My kids threw away the instructions and than took out the batteries so now the codes are erased from my philips universal remote. i just need to know the codes for a sanyo tv it was the 1st code listed for that tv brand and the 3rd code listed for an emerson dvd player. thanks

DRC800 Sanyo TV 0799,0154,0893 Panasonic VCR 0035,0162,1062,0616,0225,1035 press device key for 6 seconds led will blink solid key in code correct code will cause led to blink 3 times press power button to confirm code works. rg

There is no code for Samsung TV/VCR combo units. Try the Samsung VCR codes: 240, 045 and the Samsung TV code: 060, 427, 056, 030, 019, 178 . Program the VCR and the TV buttons separately.

Most One for All universal remote manuals and code lists are available from: http://www.oneforall.com/support/manual . You may need to change the country listed at the top of the page. Then use the drop down menus to select Universal Remote and the model. Please note that the codes programmed into a universal remote are limited to those for devices released 6 months or more before the remote was programmed. If your TV/VCR is newer than your remote, you may need a new remote.

On universal remotes such as Pilips use 4 digits. I noticed that Go cideo should be 0392 but listed as 0342. Hand writing 9 may look like 4. So Panasonics 0345 may be 0395?

Bought a fairly used 2003 HDTV 4 months ago, Didnt come with remote but got a Universal I used that worked, my friend took the batteries out for a while for something else, we put the batteries back in...
Hard to say what the code is without knowing the model number of the remote and the brand of TV.

RCA's website has a remote code finder you can use.

This is the user's manual for a Phillips remote control. There is a list of codes in it. They should be rather universal. There's also instructions as to how to program it. I believe that there is a way to program it without using the codes.

Programming with Code Search

1. Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.

2. Press and hold Code Search button until the red indicator stays on. Release the Code Search button.

3. Press and release the desired mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blink, then stays lit.

4. Press the Channel Up button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device could be controlled changes channel. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit. If you accidentally overshoot the code required, press the Channel Down button to backtrack through the library until the device changes channel. Pressing Channel Up changes direction to forward again. Press and release the Mute button to install the code.
