Calibrate pelouze 4040 scale. digital with 400lb capacity.

The Pelouze K-5 is a discontinued item. The slim chance of getting an updated replacement dial would be if you found such available for a similar item and tapped that items replacement dial. As the original dial was replaceable, its manual should offer instructions on how to manually change it. Office Supply might have a similar dial but as the scale is discontinued, your chances of finding a Pelouze part with updated postal rates probably are less than zero. I don't think querying the company will help in this instance unless you just want to buy another model of postal scale.

go to a tobacco shop or a tobacco pipe shop"head shop",or ebay, Vintage Pocket Hand Held Postal Scale 0 2oz ,or here, Postal Scales Hand Held Scales , or, Items found similar to Hand held pocket postal scale keychain 100 grams... good luck,most staples will not sell them because they are commonly used to weigh drugs.

Based on its appearance I'm guessing that you need to unplug it and open it up. Clean it as well as you can with a stiff brush and an electronics safe cleaner. Roaches are the most likely cause of your scales failure!
All the above may be fruitless, it may not be possible or worth the cost to repair.
Time for a new scale! You must keep it clean and turn it off and disconnect it when you aren't using it. Roaches like warm damp dirty places!

oUt2 means that it needs to be calibrated. I am not familiar with these scales so no sure if they can be re-calibrated.

If i were you i would try to search for it on google or look on their website.

Take a 5 pound bag of sugar, flour or what have you. Put it on the scale. If it is off, turn the scale so that you can check every possible place for an adjustment. Adjust and go for it!!! Good luck...Lee

We solved this hold down the lb/kg button and the zero/hold and the on button at the same time up comes a A-of and then do it again and it will come up CAL wait a momment and then turn off and it will go back to zero.

when i turn on my 4010.the screen display shows 4010 but thats all it does.any solution.

my pelouse when i turn it on it stays on 0.0 when i put weight on it stays on 0.0 it then goes of i need help to get it to work
