I have a IBM thinkpad t60 which I installed Windows XP Professional on and now the system shows that the dirvers are not loaded. The laptop is working but the data jack is not working. the following drivers are missing
Ethernet controller on PCI bus 2, device 0, function 0
video controlelr (VGA Compatible) PCI bus 0, device 2, funcion 0
video controller PCI us 0, device 2, function 1
PCI device PC I bus 0, device 27, function 0
sm bus controller PCI bus 0, device 31, function 3

You would need to get all the drivers for your laptop from the IBM website and install all of them. If you cant find them or need further help please post back and let me know.

check graphic card.if ur system lacks it the games will not run. minimum 512mb graphic card is req to run todays games smoothly. or may be ur system is old that dosent support todays games.

You need to download the drivers for your Netgear. The IBM drivers also need to be found,Depending on your model, it may have WiFi. From IBM spec sheet:
10/100 Ethernet installed on the system board
Selected models will have Intel Wireless and modem Mini PCI combo cards
Selected models will have CISCO Mini PCI card
Selected models will have Bluetooth communication daughter card
What is the problem with your Thinkpad?
If you have a Windows installation disk, you can re-install Windows on the thinkpad without the recovery disk.
The Recovery disk containd the Thinkpad device drivers, but you can download these drivers from the IBM/Lenovo WEB site,
Please Note -
The same model ThinkPad can have different types of network, video and audio drivers and unless you know exactly which one is installed in your ThinkPad, you need to download all the drivers and install each driver until you find the right driver.
When you download the drivers, write down the device driver and it’s file name so you have a record of which driver you are installing and which directory the unzipped files are located on your hard drive. Go to the IBM/Lenovo WEB site - support/download page and download the latest Windows XP or Vista device drivers for your model computer, Use this link: - http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?template=%2Fproductselection%2Flandingpages%2FbrowseByProductLandingPage.vm&sitestyle=lenovo&brandind=10&validate=true You can download the various drivers and then you click on and run the various driver files, they will then unzip and expand into a sub folder on C:\drivers Then install the various drivers from this folder (run the set-up file).

To wipe and reload you don't actually have to log in. You just need to set first boot option to CD, insert the XP disk, and reboot the computer. All the steps from there on out are explained on the screen.
