Isolate the circuit remove all devices from it but one, if that one does not blow the fuse, disconnect it, and reconnect another one in that circuit till you find the culprit.

It's not always that easy, but good luck

Kawasaki mule 4010 diesel keeps blowing 5amp glowplug fuse. Put new fuse in starts idles fine, put in gear drive 10 feet or so blows fuse.

I would pull the connector on the glow plug relay and see if you still blow that fuse. If not, then the short circuit is between the relay and the engine. If it does still blow the fuse the issue is between the fuse box and the relay. A multi meter will help you find the short to ground and the relay test will reduce the places to check.

Hilux won't start an keeps blowing the ignition fuse

post three.
and still no inputs.
we need the exact fuse name and location of the fuse.
also saying fuse next to this fuse helps 10x as there are 4 fuses. with ignition connotations.
and what engine, each car sold comes with 3 engine options,
more if outside USA. so what engine.
so that is because each engine has a totally radially differrent EFI and ignition system. see?
Im blind
pretend i open hood what do i see, not and engine one of these.

2.8 L 3L diesel I4

gen 6 pickup and more world wide, so is your car in USA or
Bolivia,

i cant guess your country or engine.
nor the exact fuse.

each fuse has many loads, so you you disclose these fact
i can look them up at alldata.com for you and see all those loads.
then we disconnect them to find which one is shorted.

that's how i do it but others might disconnect everthing on the whole car and when the fuse blows, bingo?
5 hours days later...?

The fuse that keeps blowing is related to your ignition. Get the faults read at a shop and find what is triggering fault and that will lead you to your problem. It's a whole lot easier than throwing parts at it, and cheaper.

Hi i have a300tdi disco it keeps blowing number 14 fuse.sometimes straight away.sometimes after 5 mins

Hi,

According to the wiring diagram, No14 fuse is the 10Amp, which is connected in-line to the Engine Check light. It also runs to the Engine Control Module (ECM) and Anti-Theft system (if equipped).

Something in one of these circuits is triggering a malfunction.

I recommend you have the onboard Diagnostic computer scanned by your local Land Rover dealership, to extract any fault codes - this will immediately identify the faulty component/s.

If no codes are present, then the vehicle will need to go to an Auto Electrician, to locate and rectify the fault.
