My sons phone was stolen but we managed to get it back with the police's help .now it wants a restriction code.do you know i can get it .it is a nokia x2-02 (mtn)

an educated guess here but I suspect that the code required is a PUK code ( personal user key) it activates after 3 attempts to enter the PIN number ( personal identification number)
to get the PUK code you have to contact the service provider on another phone , provide proof that you own the account for the phone and they will give it to you

For PUK codes you need to contact your service provider for your sim card! Call the customer care,am sure they will assist you the the correct PUK number..hope this is helpful

Unlock Code for Nokia C3

Dear Brother:

ur defalt phones codes is 12345 or 00000 u can use it
Default 4 Digit user code: 1234 or 0000
Default 6 Digit Security code: 123456 or 000000

Type *#06# at the mobile screen to know IMEI no of your mobile.
send the IMEI no to me and i will reply you with unlocking code.
IF Problem not Solved So
Please New Software install in the Phone Problem will Solved

I obtained my puk number from my network operator (mtn) after entering the puk number and new pin number the Sim card locked!!! what do i do now?

You usually should only use a new card when you unlock, as the code belongs to the actual phone not the SIM

Hi, every PUK code is unique so nobody can tell you your PUK number, but i will tell you what you can do!
1) If you still have your packet that your Sim Card came in, you should find your PUK number in there, if you don't have the packet, please read bellow.

2) You must get a phone that is on the same network as your phone and call the networks Customer Care and ask them for your PUK number, they will ask you for your phone number, then they will tell you your PUK number. Once you have done this, you will be able to reset your Pin number so you will be able to go into your phone again.

NEED MY PUK NUMBER

The Puk number depends on the pin lock on the sim, the phone will still work with a different Sim card.

To unlock the Puk code you need to call the contact number for the service provider for your Sim. Alternatively you can unlock the PUK code at a local shop for a small fee, £10 or £20 in UK.

To unlock PUK, call the company that branded your Sim card.

I LOST MY MTN PUK SCODE

As you know the puk code is on the certificate or in the documents that come with the simcard, to obtain the code call your phone service provider who owns the number / simcard.

Don't try to guess the puk code, entering it wrong too many times will disable the card.

You need to call MTN Nigeria to unlock the PUK, or simply use a different sim card.

UK means "personal unlocking key" .

The PUK code is asked if you enter a wrong pin 3 times.

You need to call the phone company that released the SIM card, they can retrieve the PUK code from a database for free.

In your case you need to contact your SIM card provider technical support to unlock the SIM.

The PIN and PUK are related to the SIM card, not to the phone.

If you replace the SIM card with a different one, then the phone will not ask for the PUK anymore.
