Unable to put phone into pair mode motorola hs810 to a i phone 3g

Most blue tooth device manufactures use the power button to set your device to discovery mode, first you must turn the power to on for your blue tooth from your phone menu, then most manufactures use the power button to put the blue toooth device into discovery mode,by holding the power button down when you turn your device on holding it for 6 to 10 seconds, usually a solid light appears on your blue tooth device,it is now in discovery mode,on your phone menu there should be an add new or search devices, once you've clicked that it should discover your blue tooth device, then you will need a pin or pairing code,Most manufactures use a factory 4 digit pin pairing code the y are as follows 0000,1234,1111,or 9999, if you have done the steps correctly the menu will say connect, press conect and you should be connected..i hope this helps

Passcodes for most blue tooth devices

Most blue tooth manufactures use a factory 4 digit pin pairing code, motorola uses 0000,and 1234,even though they are the most common of the codes used to pair a blue tooth device there are two others that i know of,and they are 1111, or 9999,now in the 10 years that i've dealt with blue tooth technology i have yet to come across a blue tooth device that has not used one of these 4 codes,so try these first from the most common ones first, then if it is nessasary to try other ones try the last two,but 90 percent of blue tooth manufactures use the same technology witch in this case would be the same codes..i hope this helps..thank you
