I cannot reset my router by pressing the reset

Here is the back view of your router:


As you can see, there is a reset button.
From USR website:

To restore the factory default settings, use a paperclip to press in and hold the RESET button for five to ten seconds. If the RESET button is pressed for less than five seconds, the Wireless MAXg Router will reboot.

Step 2 With the unit powered on, press and hold the Reset button.

Step 3 Hold the Reset button for about 10 seconds.

Step 4 Release the Reset button.

Step 6 The device is now at factory defaults.

Note: Do not recycle power during the reset procedure. The default user name for most D-Link devices is admin and the password is left blank.
When it says hold for about 10 seconds, don't hold for more than ten seconds or the procedure will likely fail, if ten seconds doesn't work try 5 seconds.

On the back side of the router you will find a small reset button ( where you connect the cables> press that button and hold it down for 30 seconds, you will need a pen or a paper clip.
After that unplug the power to the router . wait for 10 seconds . Plug in the power . wait for 30 seconds. this will reset the router. It will come back to the factory default settings.
Once you reset the router, you will need to reconfigure the router.
For this you will need to connect the computer to the router and open the set up page of the router.
Change the settings on the router according to the ISP.
