SOURCE: Can I connect my dell latitude d360 laptop to my tv?

you need to have the same connections on both my laptop has svideo or vga connector, some have Hdmi which is the newest, but the tv and laptop have to bot have the same connectors, it may be a dvi, or any that I mentioned, then you need a cable for your video, and another for your audio, both the audio and video cables are run to the tv, the only one that has both audio and video is the HDMI which tv's from the last hear or 2 usually do have. Then depending which input the laptop is using which it will tell you where the connection for the tv is, you set it to that input and that turns your tv into a giant monitor

SOURCE: wireless connection Dell Latitude E6400

Look for a switch that turns on the wireless device. Also check in the connection manager if the device is active and the wireless adapter is within range.

Wlan card disabled

The Dell Latitude E6400 laptop comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor for fast computing and an NVIDIA graphics card for video playback, gaming and Web browsing. The laptop has a built in Wi-Fi card, letting you connect to the Internet on-the-go. However, if you're unfamiliar with Dell or the laptop's factory installed Windows Vista operating system, you might not know how to enable to Wi-Fi.

Slide the switch on the side of the laptop toward the front of the laptop. This switch enables Wi-Fi connectivity on the Dell Latitude E6400. When switched into the back position, the Wi-Fi is turned off. Turn on your Dell Latitude E6400 laptop and log into Windows Vista. Click on the Windows "Start" button. Click on "Wireless," located in the Start menu's "Show" list. A list of currently broadcasting wireless networks appears on screen. With your Wi-Fi enabled, you can connect to any of these available networks. Secured networks ask you for a password when you click "Connect," while unsecured networks connect automatically.

Dell Latitude D 410 has suddenly (worked yesterday) stopped connecting to all known (and working) wireless networks. Is my internal wireless card gone?

If you get a 'Limited connectivity" on you wirelessconnection on your laptop, it means that the wireless card on your laptopprobably did not get an IP address from the wireless router.
To fix this problem, right click on the wireless icon on the Task bar and thenclick Repair.
This will force the wireless router to issue a IP address to the wireless cardon the laptop.
