You will need to check with the Mfg of your bathtub for new skirt.
You may find a generic front skirt at your local hardware store i.e. Lowes or Home Depot.

Jets won't turn off. Pushing the button does nothing. We have to unplug it (inside skirt) to shut off jets

New? Who installed? If installer, call him back. If you did it, you missed some control wiring from main box to the controls outside or someone shorted you on some critical control parts. If you aren't sure what your doing via the owner's manual, you need a good technician. Water and Electricity don't mix and can be dangerous!.

95 4cyl camry intermittant spark loss thus engine dies and fails to crank for short period, sometimes can be coaxed to crank again after removing negative battery terminal for several minutes and...

Test the crankshatt position sensor. If it tests good, please get back to us.

OPERATION The Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor provides a signal through the ignition module which the ECM uses as a reference to calculate rpm and crankshaft position.

TESTING The crankshaft sensor should be tested either cold 14-122°F (-10-50°C) or hot at 122-212°F (50-100°C).
  1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals. Resistance cold should read 1630-2740 ohms and hot; 2060-3225 ohms.
  2. If resistance is not within specification, the sensor may be faulty.

Fuel shutoff switch switch location on a 1988 ford econoline 350 351 engine two gas tanks fuel pump on side wall

The fuel pump inertia switch that shuts off the pump in the case of an accident or impact is located under the right side of dash I have also
found them behind the right kick panel. There is also a fuel pump
shutoff relay under the hood on the left firewall, and a relay on the
right fender apron behind a plastic cover. Hope this helps.

Apron string caught under the rod the agitator sits on. How do I take it off to remove the apron string

Is it a top loader if it is.

You can remove the agitator.
Remove the dispenser pops out, you might need a flat screw driver. After that remove the cover in the agitator.
There should be a bolt. remove the bolt and now you can pull out the agitator.

Now you can get the apron string right out.

General electric top load washer model #wpre6100g1wt loud noise

Your problem could be one of 2 things either the base is pushed up in the center or the front apron is bent. The apron is the piece of metal that runs across under the top cover. To remove the front cover to see either use a putty knife to release the catch between the top and the front cover and pull front outward one side at a time.

Kohler Whirlpool tub motor wont turn on

We had the same thing happen to our Aker brand whirlpool tub.  The fix was a replacement timer/control piece which is connected by two wires to the pump behind the tub (access wall) and plugged into the outlet; however, this cost $150 for the part and $85 for the service call (all he did was take the part out and ship me the replacement part which was easy to do).  Problem I have now is that the motor won't shut off unless I unplug it.  I am waiting for a call back from the repairman who sent me the part.

Apron caught under wringer

Hi Karen,
That is a real pain when that happens, but let me see if I can help.
First on the top of the agitator or wringer you will see a small cover. You will need to pop that off to reveal the screw hidden underneath. Remove the screw and then the agitator will pull upward and off. The agitator on the hotpoint washing machine is really hard to pull off so you will really have to pull. When the agitator comes loose you will ofter be pulling so hard that you could hurt your arm on the top of the tub so be extra careful or get some guy to get hurt for you. Once removed I am sure the apron can be easily removed and all will be well again. Good luck to you and please dont forget to rate me. Have a nice day.
