can VERY LIKELY still buy the parts from eBay...

I recommend going to Jacuzzi... (opinion).

If your motor is turned on and just hums then it is bad and will need to be replaced.

You will need to have a technician from the store you purchased it from install a new switch.

To be up to code, you should have a GFI for your Jacuzzi to plug into and a GFI circuit breaker dedicated only for your Jacuzzi. I

If you already have it, that's great, but if not check with an electrician for installation.

black slime come from not using regularly..fill jacuzzi and pour a cup of dishwasher detergent and turn jacuzzi on for a while..

check to make sure the pumps on and that its wired correctly and that all valves are open.

I would expect there is a Jacuzzi dealer in your town and I would guess he has parts. If you purchase parts locally, not only are you helping your neighbor but also, you will have the opportunity to pick his brain on tips to install.

The heater will only fire if it has water in it. If you just got the house, make sure the gas/electric to the heater is on. Turn off the pump and turn it back on.. See if that works. good luck
