Missalignement problem! Printing or copy-ing, my dialta di520 is not printing in center (off centered)... is starting to print at 7-8 mm from one long side and 6-7 from the short one. If i print / copy a full page cover, it will print off the paper! what should i do? where should i start searching for the problem? mechanical, i haven't seen a problem... i think is software... how and where can i get a new rom version for it?

  • Anonymous Aug 25, 2013

    thank you everyone for reply-ing.
@ Oralondo Solomon, i don't think that the software of the printer is the problem... it does the same when copy-ing... Surely it's a problem with the copier it self...

@ Legin Varghese, i looked everywhere and i couldn't find any bits... if that was the problem, i think the outputed paper should have marks on it, like folded corners or stuff like that... my peper is comming ok at output...

@ Fernan, i would do that, but i don't know how... can you be more precise on the operation please? thanks in advice..

@ David Burkhart thank you for your time, but i don't have a problem with folded paper... my printer doesn't start to print where it has to... is printing to "high" and to much at the left... the paper is passing ok throught the machine...

@ deniman couldn't find anythink helpfull... thank anyway..

    @ zakor google-it.. i don't have that driver... sry.

First is this a problem with just one draw? Move to a different draw. lets eliminate the draws and or the by pass tray. Does this happen when using the Document feeder. Place the original on the big glass does it happen then? Secondly have you the correct size paper are you using metric size paper and the machine thinks it is inch size paper. Have to let the copier know what country it is in. Does this happen when you print or when you copy? Check the guides in all the paper draws they have to be snug up against the paper

It has to be one of two things.  1) The wrong printer driver for the print controller on this model. 2) Possilby, but rarely seen, a bad print controller.

Personnally I would download a new version of the driver off the konica minolta website and then go from there.

SOURCE: magicolor 2400w won't print on top of page, then jam

I kept digging until I found some helpful, lucky people that stumbled across a solution. The cost of doing the repair yourself is about $1 for superglue.

I detailed the repair in my blog: http://dlburkhart.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!5BA5F950B86A8BE5!182.entry.

I don't know if that URL will work as a permanent link. So, just in case, the same information is on my business web site on the Tech Tips page: http://www.BurkhartTech.com/Tips.html.

I hope to have helped.

If anyone can use a custom web site, I can really use the work. I left work a couple of years ago to be a stay-at-home dad and to try to start up a web site business. Things started out okay. But the economy soured, all of my business dried up, and now I can't find full time employment.

How can I adjust printing output on the Rimage Prism Plus thermal printer to print to the 22 mm centre rather than 42 mm hole

Hello,

This can be done but it does not alway print clear to the center hole. I use this function if I need just a little more room to make my print look ok. You need to modify the mask JPG file to include the center hole area.

My scanned pages are too light.

Try to use the Lexmark All-In-One Center Application on your computer to adjust the darkness of your prints. On your computer, click on Start > Prorgrams > Lexmark 2600 Series folder > select All-In-One Center. From the Copy tab, select "darken" copies.
For printing, Normal or Best mode in the Print Setup properties before sending the print job to the printer for printing.

Print head is bad that is what houses the machine LASER or the J or A board is bad. check all connections to the print head first I would replace that first if you can find one, then go with the boards if you can find them.

I just changed all 4 ink cartridges and the printing is so faint I can hardly see it, am I missing a step?

The print head is clogged.
Try powerful cleaning:
Press menu, then start black copy, then four times arrow-up quickly after another.Machine will be in maintenance mode
(all lights will flash).
Press 7-6-4 and OK (or start-black-copy).
When finished press 7-6-3 then start black copy,
printer will do a power purge.
Leave maintenance mode by pressing 9-9.
If this not help better think about new printer, because cost of repairing this one is profitable.

The (HP Descjet F2200 series ) is working ,just

There are settings that you frequently use for printing, you might want to make them the
default print settings so they are already set when you open the Print dialog box from
within your software application.
To change the default print settings
1. In the HP Solution Center, click Settings, point to Print Settings, and then click
Printer Settings.
2. Make changes to the print settings, and click OK.

To create a printing shortcut
1. On the File menu in your software application, click Print.
2. Make sure the product is the selected printer.
3. Click the button that opens the Properties dialog box.
Depending on your software application, this button might be called Properties,
Options, Printer Setup, Printer, or Preferences.
4. Click the Printing Shortcuts tab.
5. In the Printing Shortcuts list, click a printing shortcut.
The print settings for the selected printing shortcut are displayed.
6. Change the print settings to those you want in the new printing shortcut.
7. Click Save as and type a name for the new printing shortcut, and then click Save.
The printing shortcut is added to the list.
