I need a replacement tumbler for the Bowen Hill Rock Tumbler because the one I have leaks - where can I get a replacement

-Possibly too cheap and make form out side of USA.
Don't use it. Every time you use it. It'll do the same thing.
Or you can try couple more times to see what it'll do.

use vasoline to seal the leaks, it should work

I used to have exactly that same rock tumbler. I have a bunch of polished rocks out in my garden that the kids and I made with that thing.

I don't have the instructions, but there are some perfectly great generic instructions on the geology.com web site: http://geology.com/rock-tumbler/rock-tumbler-instructions.shtml

I used these directions with great success.

Nothing high tech here. Try it without the o-ring. If the water does not start to leak out in the first 3 to 5 minutes of tumbling you will be ok. Stop it every day to check the water level.

Set the whole thing on a cookie sheet in case it does leak when you are not watching - you don't want a bunch of rock dust and polishing grit on your table or floor in the morning.

You will not damage anything by trying it without the o-ring.

Have you already tried Sears?
You could also try hobbypeople.net as they carry all the parts.
