Hold down the physical power button the side of the television for 20 seconds. The television will automatically reboot into normal mode while you hold down the power button after that point.

Oops. I did not notice the model number in your question, although I suspect that my advice still applies. The tip originates from a comment about the Seiki SE32HY10 on Amazon by user pennywyze, and I came across it because I had gotten myself into the same spot with my Seiki se39uy04 (4k 39 inch television), and the advice worked. So, the tip seems to work on two different Seiki models, but I do not know that it works on yours.

I am trying to connect my Nintendo Entertainment System to my Seiki TV, but it's not working.

It's possible that the connection between your Nintendo Entertainment System and Seiki TV isn't properly set up. Here are some steps you can try:
  1. Ensure that your Nintendo Entertainment System is properly connected to your Seiki TV. You can use the red and white AV jack to connect the audio cables, and the yellow jack to connect the video cable.
  2. Once you've made sure that everything is connected properly, turn on both your Nintendo Entertainment System and Seiki TV.
  3. On your Seiki TV, go to the "Input" or "Source" button on your remote control and select "AV" or "Composite" as the input source.
  4. If your screen still flashes black and blue, try unplugging and plugging in the cables again, making sure that they are securely connected to both your Nintendo Entertainment System and Seiki TV.
  5. If you're still having trouble, try using a different set of AV cables, as the cables may be damaged.
If none of these steps work, it's possible that either your Nintendo Entertainment System or Seiki TV is not working properly. You may need to seek further technical assistance to diagnose and fix the problem.

Only suggestion is if set was plugged in when you did what you did--unplug it and any box or receiver plugged in and wait a while--plug back and let the equipment try to reboot.

No sound on tv and black & white

The red, blue, and green are the component cable hookups. What you have w/ red, white, and yellow is called composite or on most TV's (AV) See if the TV has a side port for like a camcorder, etc. It will not work by hooking into the red/blue/green as they are different signals.

It is possible that your yellow jack may be separate from the red/white audio left/right jacks.

When you turn on the TV the screen flashes through a sequence of red, green, blue, white & black screens. Unable to access menu & no sound. TV Model LG 27LC2D

Sounds like it's in a service burn-in mode. LGs need a service remote to de-activate. Probably easy for a local LG shop.

Black and White Only

I had a similar problem when I first connected my son's xbox using the Audio/Video cable (red, white, & yellow connectors). I connected the cable to the TV correctly, but incorrectly selected "component" as the input on the TV setup. Result was black and white display. Switch your TV input mode to "AV" or "Audio/Video" and you will get color.

FYI, "component" TV mode is only used with devices that use the red, green, & blue connectors.
