The amplifier has a red and white input jack for the ra wires. Looking at my radio I only have one blue subwoofer output jack for those rca wires. How do I connect the amp to the radio with these wires? Should I only connect one rca wire to the amp and one to the subwoofer output jack? will this power the subs good enough?
Subwoofer signals should be MONO - not stereo (hence the single Component out on the radio)
Only use one RCA to send signal to your amplifier.
If you use a Y splitter - the signal voltage will be cut in half - deteriorating the quality, and therefore amplifying "dirty" signal.
