SOURCE: range master 50000 exhaust fan stopped working

Extremely likely the fan motor.  get to it then , after removing fan blade, plug it in directly to a 110v  outlet ,just for a second to see if it works well( don;t touch it while prefoming this test, only the plug), or jumper out the switch(with electric disconnected) momentairly to see if the fan runs after turning the electric back on.

SOURCE: fan blades or motor in Nucor over the stove hood

The FR Series fans from Fantech are glued closed to prevent air leakage. Its better to replace the fan than to try and fix it. The cheapest place to buy a Fantech fan is at http:///www.hvacquick.com as they buy direct from Fantech.
Alos the FR Series fan comes with a 5 Year Manufactures warranty.

SOURCE: Ventline Range Hood Fan broken

In my RV, which should be similar, I removed the filter from the hood. With power off, I removed the fan, which was held on with a clip. Removed two screws holding the motor in and took it to a camper supply store. Mobile home supply would have had it, too. You might find the motor on line if you go to the website of the manufacturer or search for parts for that brand.

SOURCE: range hood blower motor - rangemaster

I'm not sure if it a regular home range hood but if it is. Check the price of a new one. A regular home range hood cost around $100.00 and a fan motor runs around the same. If it a commercial type is another story. If commercial Heritage Food Service Equipment will have the motor.

Motor has started t0 smoke and trips circuit breaker

On the motors I deal with there is a series of numbers that identify the shaft size, hp and all other requirements. I would try and contact a local Grainger and see if they can help, if not try in the yellow pages for a motor repair shop in your area and sometimes they can get you one. Good luck

Goodman 3 ton outside unit fan not blowing

Motor, wiring and/or capacitor. If the sticker on the side of the motor isn't burned off you can get the motor info off that. Model numbers from the motor do little for locating the motor but my help. Best thing to do is get the AC motor specs and look up online (cheapest) or go to a motor shop. The specs you need would be as follows.
Horsepower-Such as 1/4 or 1/3
Voltage-Most likely 240/1 (240vac single phase)
Rotation-CW/CCW looking at the shaft end of the motor
Amps
Frame size

I have a dayton kitchen exhaust blower mod no. 4hz65, 1/25 hp, 1550 rpm, 115 volts, 1.5 amps, 8 inches. it does not seem to do the job, do i need a stronger one?

Remember air will only move as fast as the size of the exhaust pipe in relationship to the fans ability to push. Make sure yours is the proper size for the fans volume.
