Dear johnny_river,
In general there are many causes why soap is not sucked. In a domestic and various other machines the soap is only sucked in low pressure. So one thing you can try is remove the nozzle or the complete lance from your gun. This will give a low pressure. If you attach a pipe directly to the machine soap inlet, and soap is not sucked, than the soap valve is "stuck closed" with soap. It is important that one must work with fresh water after using soap. This to flash the system from any soap left. So in a few words attach a pipe directly to the nipple at the machine and use low pressure. Important , you do not have to use soap to test....use fresh water. If this works( which it should)...than service the flow control tap or change it altogether.

I posted an answer to no soap on the Karcher Factory-Reconditioned 2,600 PSI 2.3 GPM Gas Pressure Washer G 2600 VHR. Same machine I suppose, but use the black 65 l degree low pressure nozzle. It's in the manual , I missed it and had a hell of a time trying to figure it out. If that doesn't work check the check valve on the pump(Where the soap hose is) , see if it's gummed up.
Be careful taking it off there's a spring and ball bearing in there.
On pressure washers with cleaning solution pick-up hoses you have to make sure you are using the black, low pressure, soap tip. If you are using the high pressure tips, red, yellow, white or green, there will be too much back pressure at the pick-up tube for it to work properly. If you are using the soap tip, check that the pick-up tube and filter are clean.
there should be a ball check valve in the soap suction hose lets soap in keep water out poke a paper clip in the hole a few times soap will build up there and make the ball valve leak
there should be a low presure tip for dispensing wash cleaner or if you have an adjustable wand turn it to low presure setting also make sure the suction tube is open some have a adjustable filter...good luck
Put the tube into a bucket with detergent that is recommended for your machine then put the wand into low pressure mode and if it has a valve where the hose connects turn the valve to the on position and pull trigger and watch to see if soap starts being drawn out of the soap bottle if it starts pulling the soap up continue to allow it to flow till you get your part soaked with soap, then let it set for 10 minutes then hit it with high pressure hose to wash off, when it is clean then put it on low pressure and pull hose out of bucket with soap and then allow the soap to be pulled out of tube and until there is no longer any soap coming out then store the hose for use later. some machines have a control valve at the end of the wand by turning the tip or pushing tip in or pulling it out some models requires you to use quick disconnect fan tips to lower pressure to use soap.
It must be set on NO pressure. If it has exchangeable tips, it is the black one. If the end of the soap tube looks like THIS, (#5) you may need to twist it to open it
Two nozzels came with your washer one has a cone shaped head, the other one is blunt, attach the blunt one to the trigger. You will notice on the barrel of the nozzel it says "mix" turn the indicator line to "mix" and it should work. This is a very low pressure setting and is used to "apply" the soap only. You cannot despense soap in the hight pressure mode.
If there is a check valve in the little line that you put into your soap tank, it doesn't need primed. I have very large 5000 psi units and have enough suction without one. If you can't get it going, you can always remove the hose end near the pressure washer end and fill it by immersing the tubing in the soap, but that shouldn't be necessary. Sometimes the little fitting with the check valve in the bottom get plugged up as well, so that might be your problem. Hope this helps you, Rick
