Booting problem this is really strange. I was listening to some music on my laptop and suddenly it froze though the music was still playing. So I left it alone for about 2 minutes and then pressed ctrl, alt, delete. I left it alone again and then this blue screen comes out of nowhere and said Inaccessible boot device and said something about clearing memory. I didn't like the sound of that so I turned the laptop off turned it back on and thought everything is okay. Now it keeps going to that blue screen saying the same thing, and I can't get passed it. Its not clearing the memory, but its not letting me onto my laptop. PLEASE HELP!!!

Sounds like you need to reboot it from the startup disks provided. first though, check in the BIOS to see if you have the correct boot sequence. You may also need to check for virus if the music was downloaded of the internet.

Audio Distortion after System Crash

sorry for the late reply. im using windows. im quite sure that there's no virus involved with the distortion of my sound. this is what happened.

1. im surfing the net while listening to music(full volume)
2.)then suddenly the sound gets a bit distorted(jumps, skips)
3.)then everything hangs up which forced me to reboot
4.)the windows loading screen became too long(like 5mins) before it takes me to the main desktop(start up programs loads like 48 years also).
5.)when i play music ,the sound is very much(like alien,"rrrrrrr")

i tried reinstalling the drivers but nothing was fixed. i've even tried Regcure.

i just formatted my notebook and voila its back to normal.
i dunno but i think playing loud music using laptop, or in my case notebook speakers would cause this problem. im using external speakers now and i've got no problems. i just hope that there would be a fix to this problem so that i wont have to reformat if the problem occurs again

T30 startup problems...

We can start with the easy stuff first. Move the memory chip to the other slot. Remove the small square plate on bottom of the laptop. You'll need a really small screw driver for this. If you have two chips, remove one and see if the laptop will boot-up.
