CAR ALARM SOUNDS OFF ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT WHY

i have a chipper and it started giving lot of problems 4 yrs ago, so I got this free Pdf manual from reliable-store for free and I don't think Ive visited a mechanic or fixya for help for more than 3-4 times out of the 20 times I fixed the chipper in these 4 years

mostly self serve fixing them . id ask at a tint an alarm place
there is function to pair them again . have the remote tested if its putting out signal . point at a camera an watch . take it to autozone . listen to it on a radio close to it. you have 2 is the other working.

This would be difficult to give an accurate diagnosis without full details like:- what model alarm system or vehicle this is for!

sounds like it might be the starter connection to the key switch is disconnected!

Check you settings something need to be adjusted in your settings!

Sounds like the unit may have seized (common occurence with this unit). Disconnect the positive battery terminal, wait ten seconds, reconnect. If you have a security radio be sure to have the code handy.

There is a good probability that you have the PRESTIGE alarm. There is a hidden microswitch somewhere around the left kicker panel. It is also called the "valet" switch. It will disarm the alarm, but still allow the remote to unlock the doors.

The valet switch,on the newer Prestige alarms, is a push button LED or, it's incorporated into the antenna. In both cases, turn the key to the on position, then press and release the valet switch. The alarm will respond with two chirps confirming that it is disarmed. You may now start the vehicle. After you successfully disarmed the alarm, turn the key to on position, press and hold the valet switch for approximately 5 seconds, the LED will come on solid. Turn the key off.The alarm is now in valet. You can take it out of valet in the same manner.

sounds like your code alarm remote starter is set for cold weather start

The problem could possibly be that the shock sensor is too sensitive. It may need to be adjusted. You will need to find the alarm module and see if it has a built in shock sensor or if it separate. Either way adjusting the sensor will help.
