Drivers problem i need the whole driver of the compaq cq40 presario cq40-313TU pls. help me send me the full driver installer at [email protected] pls. i need help

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download if available, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, list of Dealers, for spare parts and service, Driver downloads and Installation Instructions as required.

This is the best way of ensuring up to date drivers for your system and they are free of charge!

Goto my computer and right click, goto properties then device manager, scroll down to sound,video and game controllers, click on the "+" sign and see if there are any exclamaition marks if there are right click on them and choose update driver, use the internet option to download the driver for you, it takes a few minutes so be patient, post me back if you need more help.cheers.

Your notebook is a newer model, so it should have some kind of built in wireless adapter.

I think you're stuck. The Compaq Presario CQ40-313TU Notebook PC does not seem to be compatible with XP.

You could try installing it anyway and seeing if you can track alternate copies of the drivers, or if XP itself recognises the hardware. Looking at the laptop components, the main components all seem fairly common, so you might just pull it off.

Of course, with this approach you run the risk of XP not being able to have all the drivers, and then you will have wasted your time.

You might just be better off learning to live with Vista (horrible as that is!)!
