The WS-7395U uses the La Crosse TX8U outdoor temperature and humidity sensor. That part has a $49.99 MSRP. It is $46.95 from La Crosse; see http://www.lacrossetechnology.com/tx8/index.php to order the part. Other vendors that I checked do not have the sensor in stock for sale separately.

I hope this helps.

My Taylor we 1502 is showing HH in the outside relative indicator. How do I get it to recognize the outside relative humidity %? Thanks

If the outside temperature is currently displayed, there may not be anything wrong with the we 1502 sensor. The HH indicates that the outside relative humidity is above 95%; that is a limit of the sensor's detection/accuracy range. You could try moving your we 1502 sensor to a dryer area where it isn't exposed to rain/other falling water or wait until things dry out.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the model for the base of your weather system for more information. The HH message applies to most Taylor weather systems. The manual for the Weather Guide Indoor/Outdor 1731 system is available here: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/71QBC5RdcNS.pdf .

I received this clock as a gift. I opened the box and it does not have the outside weather temperature sensor in the box. The model number is: WS-8115U-S 200 ft range. Could you please help me out.

Hello, Karen -

I hope I am correct in thinking your clock is manufactured by La Crosse Technology. If so, I suggest you ask the person who gave you the clock as a gift if they still have the sales receipt for it. I believe you will need to have proof of purchase in order to have the missing temperature sensor replaced under the warranty for the clock.

See the warranty information for your model clock here:
https://www.lacrossetechnology.com/media/catalog/product/w/s/ws-8115u-it.pdf
pages 11-12.

Otherwise, it appears you will need to purchase a replacement sensor:

Best wishes.

Cannot get the weather station model ws-916ou-it to show outside temperature

I have three of these WS-916OU-IT units. After a few years, the outside sensor just fails. You will get dashes and a "TR" low battery signal, even if the batteries are good
just buy another whole weather station (short money) and set both the old and new weather station unit to receive from the single new outdoor sensor.
To do this - just follow the procedure for a single sensor - that is - put the batteries in the new sensor - then within 30 seconds - put the batteries in all the weather stations - they will all pick up the same outdoor sensor.
I now have three units running off of one outdoor sensor.
Seems a bit silly, but it works.
