Ok I am not sure what does your phone have to do with the computer profile? it seems that at one point you were connected to a network and now it does not find the domain; your account seems to be Not associated with it anymore and can not find the account you are logging in at the moment therefore creating a temporary account, seek the help of a network professional or a system admin so that he can help you solve the issue.

SOURCE: Acer Aspire 5100 will not log on

If you have a Finger Print scanner (on select models), it may have failed, if you do not have this device , you may have installed malware - try rebooting and after you see the Acer screen start tapping F8 to get to speacial boot menu - choose Safe Mode and see if you can log in. If still unable, you will have to perform a system recovery - Acer provides an alternate way to recover - when you start the computer you see the Acer logo screen - after this displays hold down the Alt Key by the spacebar and tap the F10 key at the top of the keyboard once or twice - this will start the Acer E-Recovery program - follow the on screen instructions.

You probably have a virus infection. Here's something that might help, get your latest defs for you anti-virus, spybot and adaware, registry cleaner, and cache cleaner, if you have an anti-trojan do the same, if you don't download kaspersky, registry mechanic, fixmypc, and ccleaner, update any definitions, and scan..
next reboot to safe mode and scan your machine with all these scanners, and delete all the files they come up with.
next, clean your cache, temp files, history and cookie folders, and recycle bin.

Why have I been locked out of gMail on my phone, but Google won't let me access it on my laptop?

What message do you see on your laptop when you attempt to log in to gmail? Are you going in with your web browser or trying to use an email client to access Gmail, such as Thunderbird?

How do you access Gmail on your phone, is it with a Web browser and the Gmail website, or are you using an email app? If the latter, you have an app-specific password for the app on your phone, that's different from the password you use to access the website.

You should be able to access the website with a browser with the same email address and password on both machines. If you use 2-step verification, you must receive a voice phone call or a text message from Google with the verification code before you can get on with another device.

Try clearing cookies for Google on the laptop. Sometimes a clean slate will help. Along that line, create a new profile in your browser on the laptop. I have seen it impossible to do something because of some oddity in my existing profile. A new profile will give you a clean, like-new browser, with no add-ons that may be getting in the way.

Clear your laptop browser's cache for there may be something corrupted.

Scan the laptop for viruses, malware, excess amount of temporary files, Registry issues. Make sure the anti-virus is current and updated. Run a scan with Malwarebytes, and find Registry issues and unneeded temporary files with Ccleaner. All of these named programs are free to download and free to use.

If the laptop has a solid-state drive (SSD) you do not want to defregment your drive. That only shortens the life of the drive chip, for it has a finite number of read-write cycles in its lifetime.

You have been logged on with a temporary profile. You cannot access your files and files created in this profile will be deleted when you log off. To fix this, log off and try logging on later. Please

Under assumptions your are trying to logon to a networked machine which requires that PC to contact a server to download your account.

now if this PC has been disconnected from the network but still has your temporary user profile stored on it, you can still log on but only as a temp user.

to solve this make sure your connected to the network either through wireless or wired.

USER PROFILE WILL NOT LOAD

This is way too vague a problem description to be able to even make a suggestion.

What kind of Laptop?
What operating system?
Any problems getting to the login screen?
Are you able to log in, but not load the profile; or not log in at all?
Is this after starting a machine that was off, after logging off and back on, or when trying to switch users?
Are you logging on with a local account or a domain/network account?
How many profiles are on the PC?
How much space is available on the HDD?
Does it load a temporary profile, or just error-out?

When I try to log on I get a message that says, The User Profile Service service failed to log on. It also says , Profile can not be loaded. How do i fix this

Sounds like your getting logged into a temporary profile. To fix this do the following
  • Click the Window Button
  • type regedit and press enter
  • Navigate to HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Profile Lists"
  • Click on each folder that starts out "S-" and look at the value for "ProfileImagePath" that has your username in it.
  • Once you have found your SID, on the left side right click your SID(S-...) and add a .bak to it
  • Exit regedit and reboot the computer and try and log in
  • This should recreate your SID for your user
If this is not the issue or you need further help please comment back.

Network issue

Hello

This is an unusual error. Error Code 1236 - The network connection was aborted by the local system.

There is no single issue that causes this error code, so we need to verify all of the networking basics are covered and working.

1. Verify the IP address, Subnet Mask and Default Gateway are fully entered and / or populated by the DHCP server. Click START, then RUN, type in CMD then click the OK button. Type IPCONFIG /ALL - verify the three fields all have valid info for your network.

2. Verify you can see the local network - including other computers and network devices. This will rule out the possibliity that this computer cannot see any network devices and not just the shared folders

3. Log the user out and have another user that can access the shared folders log into this comptuer and try to access the shares. The user profile could be corrupted and preventing the user from accessing the shared folders. IF the new user cannot access the shared folders, then it is the PC / OS causing the issue. IF they can access the shared folders, backup the original user's data, delete their profile and have them log in again to create a new profile.

It is always recommended to upgrade Windows XP to Service Pack 3 - unless you have a very specific program that will not run on SP3.

Laptop doesn't normally start

This sounds like an operating system glitch. Enter safe mode at start up by pressing F8. Once in safe mode, log on as administrator and do a system restore to a point that you recall it allowing you to log onto your profile. This should cure it, if not, let me know and we'll try something else.
