I have a problem with our Sony Bravia 32" inch.. It started with a half inch unknown scratches and it turns out it double the size and scatered all over the screen. Now, there's another problem. There's a little white spot on the lower right of the screen. Now, it also double the size and it seems everyday it becomes larger and larger. It's getting worst. Our TV is just 2 years and 3 months. It's just 3 months away from the warranty. How this could happened? Where are those unknown scratches line and spot came from? please tell me what to do or what you can do to out TV. I will attached all pictures here. Hoping for your immediate response.. Thank you. 
It may be due to voltage variation.
TAKE IT TO A SONY DEALER AND ASK FOR REPAIR.

It's hard to say without seeing a picture. Panasonic has a site with pictures of various Plasma symptoms and the board that will cause that problem. Go to: http://www.pasctraining.panasonic.com/PASS/elearn/PDP.htm Click on: Pictures of plasma symptoms It will direct you to a PDF file. It may not be your exact problem, but, it will show you which board will cause your problem. Hope this helps.

I was wondering if you were able to solve this issue. i am having the same exact issue with my tv. and i did not get an extended warranty thinking that nothing would go wrong with a sony tv. i learny my lesson the hard way. Can you please tell me what the tech told you or what you did to fix this problem. All your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks once again!!!

It could be 1 of 4 things:
1. One of the ribbon cables has worked itself loose (Simple Fix)
2. One of the assembly boards maybe faulty
3. The driver board which feeds the panel maybe faulty
4. The panel is faulty
The driver board in the UK costs approx £70 and approx £35-70 to fit it if this is the fault.
All other parts are between £80-160 and approx £35-70 to fit it if this is the fault.
The panel will cost approx 50-75% of what the TV was worth when you bought it - "Repair versus Replacement"

we have the same exact tv and it is not even a year old. we are told that it is the display panel and it is a well known problem with this tv. we were also told that there is a shortage of these parts. they had 283 on order, but only received 35. you need to call sony and tell them that you have this problem. they should warranty this for you even if your tv is 3 months past the warranty period. since this is a well known problem with this tv, keep on them.
