I have a maytag side by side fridge model # MSD2356AEW. My problem is that the water dispenser is not working. The ice dispenser & maker work fine. Any suggestions?
There are two water inlet valves on the back of refrigerator, one for icemaker the other for water in door. the valve for the water inlet is plugged or the soelinoid coil is bad. replace faulty valve, usually about 20 to 30 greenbacks at the appliance parts store
More than likely, it is the Water Control Valve(Solenoid). There is probably a dual valve, one for Ice and one for water.
The one for my Kenmore usaully costs around $32. IN 14 years, I have replaced it 3 times.

mod. #mfi2568aeb and the only thing that works is the inside lights. the outside dispenser dosnt light up or the water or ice dispenser or the compreser dose not work. it like ther is a fuse or something that wont let anything work. it has power account the lightin the freezer and fridge work.
