Disney embroidary pe18od loose stitches under work what am i doing wrong

Use a brand new needle that is best suited for the thread weight and type of fabric you are stitching.
All About Needles

Be sure that you ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot when threading the upper thread. This releases the tension disk so the thread will seat properly. Also, if it continues to have loose stitches underneath, tighten the upper tension.

The underneath stitches are loose

When you see loose stitches underneath your sewing, it usually means that the top tension needs tightening. Write down where your tension disk is before you turn to a higher value, then sew. Keep doing the above until you reach the correct top tension. The reverse of this would be loose stitches on top which means the bobbin needs to have the tension screw increased, little at a time, about 1/8 ". Sew and repeat until the stitches are equal.

Having rethread the spool it is now stitching but the underneath stitch is still loose

Did you thread with the presser foot up?

This opens the tension control so the thread can enter.

When the foot is then lowered to begin sewing, the thread will have the correct amount of resistance to form a proper stitch with the bobbin thread.

Sir I am owning a Janome Memory Craft 10001 but recently it's not working properly in ordinary sewing mode the top side of the fabric the stitch looks okay but underneath it is loose and while embroidering...

Usually If the underneath is loose it is the top tension that is the problem. If it is the top stitching that is loose it is the bottom tension. Hope this helps.

When making a straight stitch or Zigzag stitch, makes loops underneath the fabric This is for a Singer sewing machine model 5817c

Your top tensioner is too loose.make sure the thread runs through all the relevant eyes and then tighten the top tension little by little as you do a sample few stitches.

TOP STITCH IS FINE BUT WHEN I TURN FABRIC OVER THE UNDERNEATH LINE OF STITCHING IS LOOSE . WHAT CAN DO TO REMEDY THIS PROB .

Sounds like your upper thread tension is too loose. Try tightening the tension on the top thread, but first, make sure the machine is threaded correctly through the tension disks.

Loose stitching underneath. HOW CAN I FIX!!!!

Sounds as though you may have a burr or rough spot on the hook where the bobbin inserts. Run your finger along the edge of the hook to see if there are any rough spots.I'm sure you're going to find at least one from the time you broke the needle.Once you locate it, remove it with an emery stick or small sharpening stone. Polish it so that it is smooth. Should work okay.
