My java applications on my nokia 6300 cannot connect to network

the problem is not with your phone but with with the network type you are using of phone internet configuration.Opera only works with Socket(Direct internet) and HTTP internet type.If I know your Internet Service Provider(ISP),then i will be ale to help u.

whenever i m downloading any instant messanger on my samsung duos chat 322, its getting cancelled and shows a message "invalid JAR". What does it mean? Why is it showing with each and every instant messanger.

First of all,you should download opera mini 5 from the internet.if you have Nokia 2690 with data cable then you can easily access internet on your computer.you can make your Nokia 2690 as a modem.how should you do this? i am giving you some tips as follows.please keep it up.
1) Open http://www.google.com
2) Type Opera mini for Nokia 2690 on Google search bar
3) Click on http://www.megamobilecontent.com/software/Nokia-2690/Opera-Mini-i16804/
4) Click on Opera Mini (5.1.21214) Download

After downloaded Opera Mini.jar file (size is 266kb) on your computer,
5) Open opera mini.jar file
6) if you have installed Nokia PC Suite then message appear:- Do you want to install the application to the phone?
7) Click on right tick button that is YES.
8) After installation, message comes,Installation complete.
9)Open your Nokia 2690
10) Click on Applications
11) Click on Collection
12) There at last you will find opera mini icon.
but before running it.i suggest you restart your mobile at once.now you can surf internet through opera mini 5 regularly basis.

the problem was related with the opera browser , please download & install opera mini browser from the following link m.opera.com
, nokia 5130 is a java enabled phone please try to download java applications. i think we get lot of games and software from
mobile9.com
the inbuilt games will formatted when the phone was restored .

1. Acivate GPRS and configure proper settings for the same ( call to your network operator customer care for that)

2. Using your mobile's web browser goto http://mini.opera.com

3. If your mobile supports java applications, then you can donwload and use the opera mini java application from the above link.

4. If your mobile not has java capabaility then its not possible to use the java (opera) application.

To configure the application settings of Nokia 6300, go to:
menu>settings>configuration>active def.in all app>yes
If that does not work, you have to contact Nokia customer helpline.
If they do not get back to you in a timely manner, you my try going online.
Any settings that Nokia customer support could send are also available from the Nokia web site - look in the "get support and software" sections; but in this case this would only be your internet access settings.

First : Did you have receive gprs configuration settings from your operator ? If not then ask them for that . Second : If you already have received configuration settings , then you need to make them the default settings of your internet connection . If all that is already done , then make it sure to let all application that are installed on your mobile device to run over your internet connection settings . Just look in the Settings of your Nokia . Now you have to look in the opera mini settings ! Just check what type of connection is it using . There are two types [HTTP and SOCKET] . just make it socket and problem will be solved .

1.Menu->Settings->Configuration->Personal Configuration Settings.
2.Options->Add New("Add New" directly if the folder is empty)
3.Choose "Access Point"
4.Account Name: anything(say Java)
5.Access Point Settings->
6.Data Bearer: Packet data

Bearer Settings: gprsnorth.cellone.in
Network type: IPv4
Authentication Type: Normal
User name: ppp
Password: ppp123
8. Save these settings.
9. Come back to Personal Configuration Settings,
10. You will see a new access point named Java.
11. Options->Activate.
12. Voila! You are done! Now you can browse through the internet on any java application.
