sometime you will have to pull the cord to have it set itself on the crankshaft. when you pull the rope it will fall into place.

Gasoline-powered pressure washers use an SAE 30W motor oil (10W-30) in the engine. Always consult the engine manual for specific instructions and be careful to put the correct oil in the correct place.

what gear oil ??? it should be a non detergent motor oil but this all depends on the brand of pump that you forgot to mention

There is a plastic hose that is for detergent injector that goes on valve body just below your pressure washer hose

The Honda engine will use standard 30W. the pump will use 30W non-detergent.

Northstar suggests a Non-Detergent SAE 30W for that peticular CAT pump.

The injector might be worn out or have something inside of the valve causing it not to ****. If you are using a new high pressure hose or a longer hose this may also have an effect over the injector not working.

It will be a 30 wt non detergent oil probably. You could contact a Rental store in your area they will have what you need. Hope this helps. 2rns4u <*{{{>(

Most detergent injectors work by the venturi system. That is that the detergent is drawn into the stream by the forward flow of the water thru a very narrow port after the water passes thru the pump. This system works best when the pressure at the tip of the wand is low. Trying using a very large tip to draw in and apply the detergent, then remove injector and rinse with high pressure. Not good for the pump but to apply soap reliably under high pressure the soap needs to be injected through the intake of the pump. enjoy
