Hi.
My integrated dishwasher (mod: pwf 403 w, type: 12137) makes a kind of alarm tone when i close the lid to start.. As i retried a couple of times it started somehow but it seemed it was only the pump struggling for some reason.. I've opened the whole thing and everything seems clean, any pipes cant be strangled since i havent touched them for years..
I opened the "salt lid" and it was filled with water, may this be the reason why it wont start?? Ps, all parts are moving freely and are clean..

This dishwasher being only seven weeks old I suggest you contact the store where you bought this unit and tell them to book a service call and send a technition out to solve this,the reason I am suggesting this is that the unit is under guarentee and if you try to repair it will void any guarentee or warrentee that is on the machine.If you do work on it and something big and expensive goes wrong the store(manufacturer) will not honor there guarentee when they see that you worked on it so better to be safe than sorry.If you do not come right with them let me know and we can see what we can do from there.

When it's buzzing, you have to let it buzz until it stops. Then you pressed stop then start. Et voilà!
"S" means salt, but you can use any salt you want.

DWF 415 Ikea Whirlpool Dishwasher has constant green blinking light. Drain pump works ok (as it will pump out a jug of water if I tip it into it!) but no water comes in. Cycle stops about 30 seconds after thre is no more water to pump. Any ideas on how to fix?
