While we FIXYA volunteers simply love to opine on issues of every sort... eBay would be a VASTLY superior place to test your VALUE... or merely watch (vicariously) some AMAZING WATCHES... tributes "replicants"... and down right ridiculous knock-offs being sold (as real watches).

To attempt to fix a value... IN A NEAR TOTAL INFORMATIONAL VACUUM.. would be incredibly irresponsible... and certainly inappropriate to the purpose of this (FIXYA) site... Much more suited to a professional retailer... jeweler.

You need sharp nose pliers to unscrew the back and small screw driver to pry out the battery for direct replacement.Maybe 325 but you have to buy fresh ones from Radio Shack not drug stores.

Tag Heuer watches are constructed with scuba-diving bezels-- that is to say, it only turns COUNTERCLOCKWISE. This is so that when you are diving, you set the triangle marker to the time you went down. If you accidentally bump your watch while diving, it will move only counterclockwise, leading you to think you have LESS time left to dive, which is so much safer than thinking you have MORE time to dive, than you really do.

Fake Tags are common! The only surefire way to tell if its real is by the movement! They use Swiss ETA movements. Fakes use Japanese movements! If you are purchasing this watch online...well good luck! If you can take it to a watch repair company then I would suggest that before you buy so they can open the case back and see what kind of movement is in it! A real Tag will cost upwards of $1500 plus and I would think a Limited Edition would be even more!

It sounds like links has been taken out previously. Check the last link ( the one that fits directly into bracelet). There must be a hole and you should be able add links.

If you can't find exatly your model, don't be upset and check the closely matching models ( I mean with same features as: pushbutton count, subdials, count of hands and so on). TAG is still using the same movements as before and what you see is just different look. That means you CAN find user manual for your watch.
